Then, a year or so ago we were looking to remodel our home in South Tampa. We interviewed a number of contractors but none really struck our fancy. We love our home so much and everyone at Bay Harbour worked so hard to help us do exactly what we wanted to make it perfect for us. They provided all the necessary services from the architect to the household appliances-they always pointed us in the right direction. Everyone with the Bay Harbour team is kind, understanding - listens well, and very patient! We were planning our wedding and went away on our honeymoon during the latter part of the building process (a very crucial decision-making time!) and they helped us through every step of the way--we had no surprises upon return from our honeymoon!   • "We used Bay Harbour Homes to lead us through a complete kitchen renovation, reconfiguration of garage space into a dining area, and construction of new utility space. I can say without reservation that the experience with Bay Harbour Homes was not what I was expecting and we were extremely pleased. Tom and his staff were beyond professional, attentive, considerate, and respectful. From the very first meeting, Tom and his staff were open to our ideas and helps us work through the positives and negatives of each. They provided an updated, detailed schedule of activities that covered three weeks (current week and 2 weeks out). This was very important to us since we occupied the house during the 2.5 months of construction. They provided daily communication of events and issues on-site and laid out all of our options. Of particular note was the fact that in the middle of the project I had to go out of the country for business for a week and this concerned my wife. Tom and his staff made sure that they were on site before she left in the morning with the kids and were there when she got home in the afternoon to go over everything with her. They were explicit and non-technical in their explanations of what occurred that day and what to expect for the next. They went so far as to coordinate moving the washer and dryer around some of the activities to ensure that the laundry could be done without having to go to a laundry mat. Bay Harbour's selection of subs for work was also amazing. Each of the subs held a level of respect for us and our ideas. Each sub was there when scheduled and completed the work mostly on time. On the few occasions that they ran over both Tom and sub gave us the heads up early with an explanation and a plan to stay on task. We will be using Bay Harbour Homes on our next project and strongly recommend that you do too."

  • "We did a lot of research before hiring a company to do our home expansion. We are beyond pleased that we chose Bay Harbour. They did an excellent job from start to finish--- very knowledgeable, hands-on, and experienced. Their recommendations were always right on target. We added over 700 sq feet to our home, including a large family room (wired with surround sound, beautiful windows all around, a traditional fireplace/mantel with detailed molding as a focal point), a spacious wet bar with gorgeous cabinetry and granite countertops, and full bath. We also added a covered porch and extended the existing patio area. Having lived with our addition for a year now, we are truly happy with every decision we made. Friends who saw the before and after often comment on how well the transition flows from the old part of the house to the new. And yet, we still feel like we have the "wow factor" of all the beautiful new features that distinguish a true home upgrade. We will be able to live in this house much longer than we would have without doing the expansion, and we know if we decide to sell one day that the expansion we did will be extremely appealing to homebuyers. Few more things worth mentioning....Tom and his team are very good at assessing the scope of a project and making every dollar count. They do not try to sell you on overly high-priced materials when an alternative of equal quality is available. Tom and his team are also excellent communicators. They are very good at breaking down various aspects of the project so that you understand exactly what is going on and what you can expect in terms of the end result. Tom and his team are very organized. They plan ahead with ordering materials as much as possible and the way they manage their laborers and keep everyone on task and in sync with one another is amazing. There are a LOT of people that go into a home construction project. From the guys that lay the foundation to the drywall workers, electrical folks, plumbers, painters, you name it.... Bay Harbour ensures that everyone knows exactly what they are expected to do and when. Our project was completed in 3 months. Just 3 months!!! Bottom line....you can't go wrong with Bay Harbour. They are very professional, they've been in business a long time, they know what they are doing! They want to earn your trust and they work hard to keep it because they sincerely want you to be happy with the goals you have for your home."

  • "Tom DiGiacomo and I first met back at Rollins College. When I moved to Tampa I reconnected with Tom after purchasing a 1917 bungalow just off Bayshore Blvd. It was in such bad shape it had been condemned by the city and was awaiting demolition. Tom and his team guided me through the complete remodel which involved everything from replacing the foundation to the roof and everything in between. Eight years later, the time had come for my wife and I to build our dream home. This was going to be a large project and we interviewed 5 builders. My wife did not know Tom.
